I see people are still keep coming here even when I don't post anything - not in droves, but in a steady trickle. It is pretty cool that there are those of you who come to see if there is anything to see. I hope you aren't too disappointed when you find nothing here. Or maybe I hope you are disappointed, and I'm sorry to disappoint you. I've been unable to keep up the lighthearted tone that I started this blog in, and a lot of the time if I don't feel in that mood I just think it's better not to post anything. On those days I don't even feel like posting the few posts I have waiting in draft form for just such an occassion. What I would like to say today though is that it's good to have a faithfull following, even if it is just a small one. Thank you.

Oh, I do post what I want to, and sometimes it seems what I don't want to as well, if you know what I mean. I write this because I like writing, so I do do this primarily for myself, but it is very nice to have others read it too.

I've just checked it myself, and you're right, I have been blogging that long. Not some kind of record though, as there were quite a few people already blogging here when I joined in. They're still going strong, albeit some of them under a different name than when they started.
I'm glad you like my idea of having some posts lying in wait for that uninspired day. The only problem, I find, is that if they don't match the mood of the day, I feel disinclined to post them. -

We do all keep going somehow, as you point out. I've been feeling a bit weird of late and I really wasn't going to post anything, but when I looked at my viewing figures, I was taken with the fact that there are people who check in to see if they've missed something and I thought maybe I should give them something. And suddenly, out of nothing, there was a post.
Silly me for accepting Lindow's calculations without question. Two and a half years did seem like longer than I'd been here, but time is always playing strange tricks on me, so I thought he was probably right. Good thing you're here.

You already know my view, post when you want to, don't when you don't, but never be held back thinking "they wont want to read it" or anything like that, post what you want.
