Much (if not all) of life has that approaching and retreating aspect about it. Maybe it's not quite as rhythmic as waves on the shore line or the beating of the heart, or as evident, but it's there.

Thank you, it's occupied my thoughts quite a lot, on and off (even the thoughts have their own rhythm), over the years.
I think one of these days I'm going to have to write about what actually leads me to these conclusions.

Now that has gentle but definite resonance.

I wish I could think of something equally as clever to respond with. But there we are, intelligent one minute, stupid the next.

Yes - together, then apart - attracting, then repelling. If you look for it you can see the patterns everywhere. No need for explanations. I'm still thinking about how far it can be applied to everything in life, or if indeed it can be applied to everything - emotions and relationships certainly, but also so many other things.

And if you add `up and down` to it as well it makes you practically dizzy!
Definitely gives you something to think about...

Yin and yang. Opposites attracting then pulling apart. Also there is an underlying beat to everything, including the universe I'm sure. It's in our bodies and we can tap into it, even if it's our own rythmn we can claim it to work on whatever we want it to!

It's amazing how there is a rhythm to everything, from the largest to the smallest, and in what can be felt as well as what can be seen.

But isn't that called the spice of life? Moving forward and then going backward? I think it would be dull if we didn't have the push and the pull of life.

I was just observing - I didn't mean it in a negative way, but you are right, it is what makes life interesting. Even blogging has its own rhythm, and you're certainly adding to it with your blogmeets. xx
