Some time ago - lots of time ago, actually - one of my blog friends removed me from her list. I asked her to reinstate me and have felt guilty ever since. She obviously removed me because she didn't want to read my blog any more, and she was perfectly right to do so. I wanted to continue reading hers, but I can do that without being linked to her as a friend, so I'm letting her go. I think that it isn't a good idea that in order to see other bloggers posts easily, we have to be mutual friends. Live Journal makes it possible to 'friend' someone without having to be friended back. Why can't BCUK do the same?

At this point Salesperson gives up trying to guess who I might be in relation to Mr GoingToBeGoingSomewhere (possibly, if he's lucky) and I'm grinning happily.
Mr Going-to-be-GoingSomewhere (possibly, if he's lucky) not too sure if he's looking too old. No, no, it's me looking too young.

I've Missed You All

I've been away so long I can hardly believe how much has happened to my friends here in the world of blog.co.uk. I think I've caught up with most of you now. It was really good to read what has been happening in your lives, particularly where what has happened has been positive. Not so good where there have been negatives. Sorry if I haven't left comments for all of you. It does seem strange to think that so much has gone on and I haven't known about it - the occasional flying visit has not been enough. I wish I had the time to spend here - that is in addition to all the time I spend doing other things, not instead of them. How on earth did I used have the time to spend hours here? I have no idea.
I really appreciate that I still have so many friends here bearing in mind how infrequent my visits are. Thank you.
